Today in the studio I got to meet gorgeous little Avagail for her Newborn Baby Photos. At nearly 7 weeks of age, she is one of the older newborns that I photograph in “true” newborn style . As a newborn baby photographer, older babies often pose a challenge, simply because their muscle tone is higher and they wake more easily when being handled.  Avagail tried to give me a run for my money today, but alas, the Baby Shusher, rocking techniques and some good ol’ fashioned stubbornness from this newborn baby photographer, all won out and I lulled her asleep.  I love these shots, especially the super sweet shot with her gorgeous Mummy.  Avagail you are a beautiful little girl and I love your photos.

It is also a mega compliment when another photographer chooses you to capture their precious Newborn Baby Photos. Avagail’s dad is a very talented photographer and so I am totally thrilled he chose me and Studio Create to capture these special images.

Love, love, love it when parents bring gorgeous props like this stunning basket to the studio for me to use. Avagail’s dad bought it for a little shoot he was going to do of his girl.  Thankfully he stuck with the commercial genre he shoots, and so I scored by getting to use it first hand. It is sooooo gorgeous and comes from Pottery Barn.  Cannot believe, I didn’t know that Pottery Barn had a Melbourne Outlet xxxx Super excited for an upcoming very necessary shopping trip xxx
